Define "Rock Star" as "someone primarily famous for their music", just to exclude guys like Christopher Lee, who got into making heavy metal in his 90s but everyone still knows as Dracula and Saruman.
Charlie Watts is 68 - can anyone find someone to beat that?

EDIT2:grimnir_thegrey brings in BB King (84) and Pinetop Perkins (*96*). And while I'm not 100% willing to call Blues "Rock", I am entirely 100% unwilling to NOT include it.
