The shooter was trying to shoot past her and hit a guy behind her. The bullet hit at an angle, in her side.

It only hit her AT ALL because she was very wide. Had she been smaller, it would have missed her.

It's more like adding huge wings to the side of your car because you didn't die when your rear view mirror got clipped. Someone should explain how gunshots woulds work to her. Fat is not a vital organ.
