That was my thought too. The mother's restraint was very admirable. If I caught him doing that to my kid, I'd be pummeling him into the parking lot asphalt.

Saying it's funny isn't the same as being okay with it. I mean, pianos falling on coyotes is funny. I wouldn't be okay with anyone doing it.

This. I am absolutely not okay with it. I'm also not male (maybe I have white female privilege?) and I know it's wrong for me to find it amusing, and I'd be upset if it was my kid or if I actually was there when it happened, and I know I should be horrified... but there's just something kind of funny about an old guy going around getting his jollies out of punching little kids on the back of the head.

I'd probably find it funny if I saw it in family guy, as a satire.

If I saw it in a live action movie, like that hobo-fights (possibly called bum fights, where they pay homeless guys to fuck each other up) then I'd probably be sickened.

As a text article my first response was surprise and perhaps incredulous humor, but the more I think/read about it the less amusing I find it, that guy is certainly no hero, I am not happy that he has done this thing to provide me with entertainment...
