There's also the case of the retired SAS WW2 vet who got mugged by four teenagers on the way home in Germany. As I recall, two of them got arrested hiding in their homes and two were taken to the hospital from the scene after the old man brushed off his hands and rang a nearby doorbell to have someone call the cops.

A friend of my kung fu instructor's produced a similar result. There were only two muggers, but he was carrying his groceries at the time. Didn't even drop 'em.
