Once again, purest dorkdom. A short list, this time.

On the combination of Mentos and Black Dragon breath
PC1: "What do you mean, he can belch the Shadar-Kai National Anthem?"

On pragmatism, and verbing:
PC2: "We can get the money AFTER we violence them!"

On the wisdom of the crowd:
Me: "If you move there, the wight gets a free shot at you."
PC3: "Yeah, so I won't do that.
PC2: "No, no, give him the OA. Trust me."
PC3: "I will trust my Warlord! I make the move"
Me: "The Wight attacks. Natural 1, it misses!"
PC2: "See?"
PC3: "... THAT was your plan?"

Me: "You want to GILD the ARTIFACT?"

On the topic of custom TTS voices, and the need to not allow them loose on the internet:
PC4: "I don't want Roger Ebert's voice explaining what Snape is doing to some Twilight character!"
PC1: "Two thumbs where?"

Re: On the wisdom of the crowd: PC3 only said "THAT was your plan?" There was no dice being thrown at heads? I am impressed at how mature a crowd you have, there.

That wasn't actually the plan. He just didn't have to *implement* the plan, since the attack missed.

Couple of times we've had situations where "maybe it'll roll a natural 1" is the plan, after we've exhausted every other option at disposal.

It is frightening how often that has actually worked.

Regarding pragmatism and verbing, it reminds me of a dwarf fighter someone once played in our 1st/2nd-hybrid edition AD&D game. The dwarf rode a boar and had a tendency to act before thinking.

Other PCs: "Why did you attack him?"
Dwarf: "He was breathing aggressively!"

That reminds me of the time I convinced our monk (D&D 3.5) to punch the ithaqua (fire worm). I couldn't stop laughing at the expression on his face when he realized that he'd taken more damage than he did.
