Technically speaking, you are incorrect. Ohio is bordered on one side by Lake Erie. And Lake Erie is not so much a lake as it is a small sea, no matter what the maps say. A landlocked state is one which has no borders on large bodies of water, such as, say, Iowa. :)
I'll grant you that the Great Lakes states don't have quite the same problems as ocean-bordered states, but that's another thing entirely.
