It may be possible to detect major earthquakes, up to several days in advance.


Two examples so far, Japan and Haiti. They're sticking sensors ALL OVER THE PLACE and waiting for the next one to see if they can see it coming.

post hoc, ergo propter hoc. how often do we get ionosphere heating in places where we DON'T have earthquakes? the heating in the images above wanders by hundreds of miles, too
