Steam's started their annual Canada Day And Other, Lesser Holidays Sale.

Contents, prizes, and cheap video games. Today's deals: Borderlands Game Of The Year 2010 Edition for $7.50, Oblivion Game Of The Year 2007 Edition $7, Medal Of Honor $10, and a pile of others.

Hell, I *own* the original Oblivion and I'm tempted by $8.50 for the complete pack with all the expansions (Anyone want a used copy on DVD?). It's a GREAT game. And Borderlands is one of the best games made in *years*.0

(Also: At $1.50 per copy, or four copies for $4.50, Lead And Gold looks like it could be fun. It's multiplayer-only, though. Anyone think that's worth taking a shot at?)

I played with the PlayStation dem of lead and gold and was less than impressed. It had a decent hook but it feels like a game from about 2003 technically. That being said $1.50 is about the right price for it.

Heh. I was just about to write that I was still playing through all the games from the last year of sales (having finally gotten a computer that'll play them well), and thus wasn't going to get any more. Then I saw Just Cause 2 for cheapness. And the inevitable happened.
