Date: 2011-10-27 04:24 pm (UTC)However if it turns out that the AED was indeed under lock-and-key (with key not handy) and particularly that those attempting to render aid were prevented from doing so then T-W is in a world of hurt. (In the Great White North I think they'd be facing criminal charges... dunno about the US, but at the very least they're facing a wrongful death suit.)
-- Steve's place of work as an AED, but it's hanging in the lunch room where any employee can get to it without delay. (That's the point; the "A" stands for "automatic", and the thing's designed to be operated by folks with no first aid training.)
