Mar. 30th, 2012 05:05 pmWeekend deal: Trine 2, 50% off. The original Trine is *80%* off, or $2.
Trine is a very pretty sidescroller platforming game where you play three heroes with different skill sets trapped in the same body, and you switch between them to solve different jumping/shooting/climbing/fighting/making boxes with magic puzzles. Unless you hate sidescroller games, the original is well worth $2 and the time to play it. I haven't played Trine 2 yet, but the original was enough fun that I bought the sequel because, hey, $7.50. Why not?
(FYI, don't buy the "Collector's Edition" - it gives a copy of Trine 1 for $5. A copy of Trine 1 is currently $2. So buy Trine 2 and Trine 1 separately, and save $3.)
