I do believe she meant Zathura.

Which was based on a story by the same author as Jumanji. AND THEY WERE THE SAME STORY.

Yup. Basically, as a parent, you choose between convincing your all-American-boyspawn to reconcile themselves to a Hallmark future (Zathura) or instilling a dread fear of hairy screaming strangers that look like Robin Williams (Jumanji).


Or, y'know, traumatising them with the horror that is Laurence "Don't call me Larry I've done Shakespeare, I'll get a good memorable role any day now" Fishburne.
