torrain: "... what?"

Me: "Input...the..."

torrain: "Feed?"

Me: "Yes, that's the word! The dog needs food."

Oh, man. I've had days like that.

I said that the mac & cheese in the microwave was "pixelating" because it was making little popping noises and my brain couldn't come up with the right word.

. . . er, earlier today, actually.

I've had a LOT of days like that.

Heh -- yyyyep.

(Especially frustrating for me, because I'm the Vocabulary Queen, but health events of recent years have given me the equivalent of severe adult-onset ADD, which comes with aphasia and major ditzine--SQUIRREL!)

Oh, neurological deficits, at least you're hilarious to the people around me! (And, to be fair, sometimes to me, as well -- I've been known to come up with some creative work-arounds for things like "oven mitts" when I can't come up with the word!)
