(PS: I have cooked with White Zinfandel *twice* recently. Once when a recipe called for white wine and we were out, one when it called for red and we were out. My takeaway: "We need more wine". Y/N?)

it's great with cooking. you can even put it in the food.

I love white zinfandel served with barbequed pork or chicken; just seems to go very well with a sweet sauce, plus it's great chilled which really brings the BBQ feeling. I don't think I've ever cooked with it though.

-- Steve uses beer a lot in recipes, mainly so that he can do something worthwhile with No Frills beef. Man, they've gone downhill lately.
