I commend the flowering of creativity that self-publishing has brought to the world. (I can't really knock this very hard tbh, because right now I'm reading a vampire-steampunk erotica series and enjoying it so.)

There's actually a pretty good shifter-kinky-erotica 3-book series, by Cherise Sinclair, which I found to be enjoyable pervy-popcorn reading.

One thing I do like about her books, in general, is that her female protagonists have a full range of body types.

(I'm not a big romance/erotica reader overall, but I do like certain authors -- and I admit to having a lifetime kink for werewolves/shifters. Ahem.)

I have a cousin who writes YA / paranormal romance / erotica, too. I'm in no place to cast nasturtiums on bears, bluff or otherwise.

And gosh, I never would have guessed that kink ;-)

I'm terribly subtle about it ;)

Self-publishing and the internet has allowed people to write for very specific audiences, and then find them and sell the book to them.

Clearly there's a living to be made writing BBW bear shifter erotica for someone, so if you wanna, why not?

The blurb is painful to read, and 90% of everything is crap, but as long as the folks buying it know what they're getting into, cool. I still get to make fun of how very specific it is and oh god my commas - fair trade.
