Pregnant 13-year-old who wants an abortion is denied one, because she's "too young to make that kind of decision".
So.
Does she die from a botched illegal abortion, does she die from a botched home-brewed abortion, does she O.D. on an attempt to abort chemically, does she successfully give birth and have the rest of her life ruined, does she successfully give birth and have the baby taken away because she's "too young" to do that, too, or does she successfully abort and get charged with "murder"?
Place your bets now!

Date: 2005-05-01 08:39 pm (UTC)This judge is skipping over the fact that Pregnancy is just plain dangerous at her age. She could come out of it fine, sure, but it is more likely to cause irreperable damage to her health and mental welfare.

Date: 2005-05-02 01:56 pm (UTC)I'd like for that judge to experience pregnancy. Preferably one like the one I had with my youngest, which can only be charitably described as hellish, with a side of misery.
