Me = me.
Her = torrain
Cat = torrain's cat Toby, a gargantuan orange furball.

(Scene: A kitchen at dinnertime. ME is cooking. HER is kibitizing)

Me: dinner is almost ready. Stir-Fried Everything!
Her: ALMOST everything. You're not stir-frying your beer.
Me: You're right
(ME pours beer into stir-fry)
Me: Now I am!
(enter CAT)
Her: (points to CAT) Okay, then, you're not stir-frying the cats. Hah!
Me: Hey, kitty, want to go in the stir-fry? Say "mrow" if you want in.
Cat: MROW!
Me: Are you sure?
Cat: MROW!
Her: Oh, come on, you're not being fair. Hey, Toby, want to NOT be dinner?
Cat: (silence)
Her: Toby, say "mrow" or he'll eat you.
Cat: (silence)
Her: Toby. You are a cat. You're not allowed on the stove, and we are NOT eating you. Say "mrow".
Cat: (silence)
Her: Mrow?
Cat: (silence)
Her: Stupid cat. Of course, you know, this proves nothing.
Me: Hey, Toby, let's go play in the oven!
Cat: MROW!

Actually it sounds alot like dolston trying to get moosey-cat to back him up on his statements of being perfectly sane. Of course, it would work better if she didn't meow to back me up when I debate the issue....
