New proposed abortion law: No abortion without written permission of the father.

If you don't know who the father is, you have to submit a list, and get them all checked until you find the right one, and then get his written permission.

Rape or incest? You need written proof of such from the police, instead of the father.

While I agree that it's not worth getting too worked up over this yet, it is worth paying attention and being angry about it because the fact that the idea for this law is out there means that someone thinks it's a really good idea. And that's half the reason I'm angry, even more so because this proposed law supports the flat-out patronization of women in suggesting they need to get a man's permission to own their own bodies (on a case by case basis, no less) or even worse, sneaky backhanded ways to take away their choice through tactics like this (http://theweaselking.livejournal.com/2485134.html?thread=8715150#t8715150).

The only ones I can think of would be the ones that probably don't mean a whole lot to anyone other than me - the brain tumor one, me in the woods, my arms. The chair on the porch is one I made, too, from my time living on an island in the North Atlantic (and I don't mind if that one gets used, too, as long as I get mentioned). Otherwise, go for it! :)
