I just typo'd and took out the /usr/ directory on the backup SQL server.

I am now receiving a golf clap from my co-workers.

If he'd taken out /etc, I'd imagine the lack of important things like passwd entries would have made itself evident in short order.

Hmm. I do remember hearing about the words "I can't log in", followed by "so what did you touch?" followed by the infamous "Nothing..."
